TRAA Teacher's Grant

Each year TRAA awards as many as eight, $250.00 grants to Craven County Art Teachers for special projects. The purpose of this grant is to fund the purchase of supplies for an innovative “hands-on” art project that the art teachers would most likely have funded using their own money.

Our small committee of members read and evaluate each applicants’ project proposal and select grantees based on the criteria that each candidate will receive after applying.

This is one of the many ways TRAA fulfills its mission to "encourage the promotion, creation, education and appreciation of Fine Art in North Carolina."
