TRAA is an artist’s community of men and women in the New Bern area, gathering in a friendly atmosphere to learn about and promote local art.

Yearly membership to TRAA expires on December 31st of every year. Please remember to renew your membership each January!

TRAA is your art and community connection in New Bern, NC. 
Your membership gives you access to monthly meetings that often include a guest speaker and/or demonstration by a local artist in a variety of mediums. These meetings are an opportunity to meet local artists, share information and discuss ideas.

We also maintain a calendar of Artistic Events on this website that serves as a great reference for art related activities in the New Bern area, that happen throughout the year.  (If you’d like to suggest any event to the calendar, please click here!)

In the spring of 2022, TRAA is planing to offer their membership the opportunity to show and sell their artwork at a two day outdoor market event in New Bern. Please check back for details.

In April, we host an annual members exhibition at the Bank of the Arts that includes a reception and juried prizes. We widely promote this month-long event that is open to the public. This year, the opening reception coincides with the New Bern Art Walk, so it is sure to be a lively evening!
