Janet Dixon: A Retrospective 2011-2021

Janet has been a professional artist in residence here since 2010. Before that, she traveled from Greenville, NC for 10 years to show in New Bern. She has been painting professionally for nearly 30 years and has been published in The Artist Magazine and a book about portraits painting. Janet earned many awards throughout the years living in eastern North Carolina.

Janet is currently preparing for a retrospective show at Carolina Creations that opens on March 1 and runs through the entire month. The exhibition features over 40 original landscape paintings of New Bern and the surrounding area. An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 11, from 5-8pm.
